About this form

Before completing the form at step 2, you must confirm that you have read step 1 which explains what this form is for and how to complete it.

You should complete this form if you are over age 55 (or within 3 months of age 55) and are looking to take your RMPP pension benefits before the Plan normal retirement ages - before age 60 (for Age60 benefits) or before age 65 (for Age65 benefits).

Quotations can only be provided 3 months in advance.

Please note that your pension will be reduced if taken before the Plan Normal Retirement Age. If you have both Age60 and Age65 benefits you can choose to take both benefits at the same time, however you will not receive any increase to your Age60 benefits if you leave it past age 60.

If you also have benefits in the Royal Mail Statutory Pension Scheme (RMSPS), the Pensions Service Centre will request this information directly from the RMSPS who will send you an early retirement quote for those benefits separately so you have the full picture.
